This fly trap has honestly been one of the most effective things we’ve tried for outdoor flies. We hung one on either side of our house to help draw flies away from the porch areas, and after a few days it was loaded.

A couple things to know:
• It works by activating bait with water
• Flies can get in through the funnel but can’t get back out
• It smells pretty bad, so I would not place it near seating or outdoor entertaining spaces

This spring we added this elevated garden bed from @Wayfair to our backyard. We’ve wanted to create a kitchen garden for a few years now, but honestly kept putting it off because we couldn’t fully commit to the space, time, and groundwork of a larger garden.

This felt like the perfect way to finally start. I love that it gives us flexibility to move it around if needed, and the elevated design hopefully helps keep some of the local critters out too.

The wood look gives the warmth of a traditional garden bed, but the durable material should hold up much better to the sun and weather over time than typical wood.

We planted herbs, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and even added a few flowers for the kids.

Amazon airless pump toiletry bottles ✨As I’ve been getting ready for travel, I wanted an alternative to the silicone squeeze bottles I’ve used in the past. I could never get all the product out, and it would eventually dry inside from being exposed to air.

These are airless pump bottles, so the plunger at the bottom rises to push the product upward — meaning you get every last drop. When you’re ready to refill, just press the plunger back down.

I also love the gold detail.

These are the larger 50ml size (great for checked luggage). If you’re packing a carry-on, I’d grab the smaller size

Our daughter is graduating kindergarten, and one thing we’ve done with each of our kids is gift them a “big kid” Bible once they finish kindergarten and start reading more independently. We got the boy version of this Explorer Bible for our son, and now chose this one for her.

Never underestimate the difference a rug can make in a room. It adds warmth, texture, softness, color, and a sense of grounding that helps a space feel finished and inviting.

Sometimes I even start with the rug first and build the room around it because it often sets the tone and color palette for the entire space.

A few things I’ve learned along the way:
• Lower pile, printed, or washable rugs are usually thinner, so I highly recommend adding a rug pad underneath for extra softness and to help keep them in place.
• We even layer rugs over carpet in some bedrooms, but thicker rugs tend to work best there so they don’t wrinkle or bunch up as easily.
• Printed rugs like the one in our living room are especially family friendly and easy to clean. We layered ours over another rug for added warmth and texture.

Cleaning high spots, no ladder needed!

This cleaning tool has been great for outside as well as for our taller ceilings inside. It extends to reach high areas and has different attachments so you are not dragging out multiple tools or climbing up and down a ladder.

Attachments include a cobweb cleaner, window cleaner and squeegee, microfiber duster, which is great for cleaning high areas like chandeliers and ceilings inside, and a fan cleaner that bends to wrap around fan blades.

The cobweb cleaner is my favorite, and I love that it stores neatly on the wall so it is not adding to the garage clutter.

Ordered this drink can cooler from Amazon for ball games and pool days this summer and it’s already been so handy. It keeps our sparkling waters cold and I love that it has a lid so if it gets knocked over, everything stays contained.

It’s designed to hold different size cans too, though I haven’t tested that out yet. It also has the prettiest shimmer that I didn’t catch in the listing photos. So far no leaking. Could be great gift idea too

Travel space saving must have: portable vacuum bags from Amazon.

They come in multiple sizes. The 20 inch size fit perfectly in my carry on, and the 28 inch size has been great for storing extra bedding at home.

What makes these different is the portable rechargeable vacuum pump. You can pack it with you and shrink everything back down before heading home instead of needing a full size vacuum. It made getting everything back into my suitcase so much easier.

I ordered these vintage floral covers from Amazon and so impressed as soon as they came in. The quality is so good. They have a soft velvet backing (my kids love that), a piping edge detail you don’t usually see at this price point, and an invisible zipper so they’re easy to remove and wash.

I loved them so much I ordered more in a lumbar size for our living room.

They come in several colors, but I went with the beige because it ties in the blues, beiges, and whites in our bedding really well.
