How to repot a succulent! Snake plants don’t die easily unless they’re overwatered since it’s a succulent! So I knew I had to get in the soil to see if there was any root rot. - Root rot looks like brown mushy roots and sometimes stink. They’ll be a distinct color difference between the rot and healthy roots - Always use the right soil! Never use heavy soil for succulents as it will hold too much moisture. I found this annoying at first but succulents need a well draining soil. - Use clean and disinfected tools. That’s why I disinfected the pot since the infected organisms can transfer easily.
