I'm 5'7", and I'm usually size S. I sized up to M for that Uniqlo cardigan; it's got a traditional cut that looked too stuffy to me in my usual size S. Sézane uses merino how I want a brand to use it: in fun cuts that I actually want to wear, not a styling challenge. Their double-faced knit in the Betty cardigan has a fine surface and sculptural structure at the same time. They used it for the striped Selene polo jumper – that's an excellent choice for a polo or rugby top. Banana Republic's merino wool is excellent and stays looking new.
