Yesterday we had our monthly book club meeting to discuss Everybody Ain’t Your Friend by Tanisha Stewart. This book is an “urban suspense” novel. This one was different from a lot of the books we read. It was based around a young woman who finds herself in lots of bad relationship situations. Overall, it was entertaining, but definitely not a book that I had to read. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have finished it if it weren’t for my book club. The ladies in our club rated this book between 0.5 to 7 out of 10 and averaged about 4 out of 10 rating. My personal rating was a 3. Although we didn’t love the book, we still had a great time meeting up to discuss. We actually were still able to have real conversations that were applicable to us even though we couldn’t relate much to the characters in the book. We met at Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida which is a place that I have loved for a long time. The food and drinks were delicious as always! Thanks @its_e2u for picking this month’s book! *Everything is linked in bio! bookclub bestbookclubever blackwomenread oxfordexchange everybodyaintyourfriend LTKOver40
