You did what? We have friends in the deaf community & so last night hosted a "Silent Dinner Party". An opportunity for our hearing 👂 friends to have a small taste of what our deaf friends experience daily. It was definitely out of our comfort zone, but we had the best time. 😊 There were some super creative attempts to communicate for those of us who don't know ASL and a lip reading contest that was hilarious. FYI - I stink at lip reading. 🤣 If you know people in the deaf community (or are deaf yourself). this is an excellent ice breaker to meld different cultures and have a lot of fun (and food) while you're doing it. 🥰 LTKstorytime LTKfoodie LTKHome
