Staying in a real trulli in Alberobello honestly feels like living inside a fairytale ✨🏡 These iconic little white stone houses with cone-shaped roofs date all the way back to the 14th century and were built using a dry-stone technique, no mortar at all. Legend has it they were designed this way so locals could quickly take them apart to avoid taxes from the Kingdom of Naples 👀 Fast forward to today, and these once “temporary” homes are now beautifully preserved and even recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But here’s the best part… you don’t just visit them, you can actually stay in one 🤍 Waking up in a trulli, walking through these magical streets, and soaking in the charm of this one-of-a-kind village is something I’ll never forget. travelinspo keysofitaly visititaly italy @keysofitaly
