Have you ever heard of Altamura? šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ It’s known as the bread capital of Italy… and honestly, now I get why. I had the chance to tour Panificio del Duomo, a super traditional bakery that’s been doing things the same way since the 80s, using methods that go back centuries. Their famous Pane di Altamura DOP is the real deal—made with local durum wheat and natural sourdough, following strict rules so it stays authentic to the region. Simple ingredients, slow process… and you can taste the difference. And let me tell you… it was SO good. Like the kind of bread you could sit there and eat all day with nothing on it. This is what I love most about traveling—finding places like this that aren’t flashy or touristy, just deeply rooted in tradition and culture. Real experiences, real food. Honestly… I could have stayed here all day just snacking and watching life go by. šŸ„–āœØ visititaly italianfood breadmaking wander keysofitaly @keysofitaly
