This Lowe’s backsplash tile has been one of my most asked-for kitchen links, and it was actually the very first finish we chose for the space.

I knew I wanted a tile that would bring warmth, texture, and that imperfect handmade zellige look to the kitchen without spending designer tile prices. Similar zellige-style backsplash tiles we looked at were significantly more expensive, but this one gave us the soft, organic, high-end look for much less.

After so many delays, corrections, decisions, and mystery problems, it feels really good to see the home renovation details starting to come together.

Trying to decide on a console for our dining room and I keep going back and forth between these two.

The Arhaus chiseled console is definitely the splurge! My husband loves the texture and detail, and it feels like one of those pieces that adds a lot of character.

But at ~$3,400 (even with 30% off), it’s a commitment… especially since we’ve already splurged on the dining table and chairs.

The Amazon version is around $300 (actually the price dropped to $230!) and I actually love the cleaner lines. Plus the black could tie in really well with the chair details.

We remodeled this kitchen 11 years ago, and honestly, it held up pretty well.

The countertops weren’t the problem.
The layout wasn’t the problem.
Cabinet space and storage weren’t the problem.
