Took my last baby to kindergarten orientation today… and wow, I was not ready for the emotions 🥺

We had a mommy + son day and it was so special. No rushing, no distractions… just us.

I’ve been a mom for 11 years, and I finally understand what everyone means when they say it goes fast. One day you wake up and you have a pre-teen… and you’d give anything to go back to these little moments.

So today I chose to be intentional.
This is all I recorded.
I didn’t take a million pictures.
My 📱 was on DND and no where in sight.

I just soaked it in…

Saturdays look different now that I’m a soccer mom…
Busy mornings, early games, running from one thing to the next.

But I’ve learned something:

If I don’t take care of me first…
I can’t show up as my best for them.

So I set my alarm for 5am.
Got my workout in.

Now I get to spend the rest of the day fully present, energized, and enjoying mom life.

I was supposed to run Garmin’s 5K this morning…
