After two unmedicated births (one over 9lbs), I’ve learned that simple, consistent prep can make a big difference.
Right now I’m focusing on daily stretches, red raspberry leaf tea, and going back to Spiritual Midwifery.

Double or triple recipe if you like

Grate Castile soap with cheese grater or

Mix together and use 1 or 1 1/2 tbsp per load

I always want to make everything perfect for my kids — probably because of things I lacked growing up.
But when I step back and really look at moments like this, I’m reminded that the most important part of it all is family 🤍
This year we did a “Four the first time in forever ❄️” theme — simple decor, homemade cake and cupcakes, pizza, subs, a few dips… and somehow still way too much food (as usual 😅).
Nothing fancy. Just love, laughter, and a day that was all about celebrating her.
And honestly, that’s more than enough 🤍

This is the third post in my new Busy Mom Beauty series — simple, real-life beauty routines that actually fit into mom life.
I first discovered CeraVe Healing Ointment 4 years ago during my first pregnancy, when my lips were painfully dry and peeling. I tried everything — expensive masks, chapsticks — nothing worked. This became my go-to, and years later it’s still a busy mom essential.

2-Minute Homemade Mayo
Crunchy, But Busy 🌿
We ran out of mayo, so I decided to make my own! It’s fast, uses simple ingredients, and most importantly — my kids couldn’t tell the difference ✔️
Ingredients
1 large egg (room temperature works best)
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
Add egg, vinegar, salt, and yellow mustard to a tall cup or jar.
Pour in the olive oil.
Place an immersion blender at the bottom and blend without moving for 10–15 seconds until thickened.
Slowly lift the blender to fully combine.
Taste and adjust salt or vinegar if desired.
Done — about 2 minutes from start to finish!
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Best used within 5–7 days.
