Now that I’m 30 weeks with baby #3, I’m starting to add more steps into my birth prep as the weeks get closer.
After two unmedicated births (one over 9lbs), I’ve learned that simple, consistent prep can make a big difference.
Right now I’m focusing on daily stretches, red raspberry leaf tea, and going back to Spiritual Midwifery.
Nothing overwhelming — just rhythms that fit into real life.

Pregnancy has been such a beautiful season, but I’ll be honest — some days it can be hard to feel put together while your body is changing so much.

As a busy mom, I try to be really intentional with what I bring into our home. Most of the time when I’m ordering something, it’s because we’re restocking things we already love or use often, or grabbing something that helps make mom life a little easier.

1 bar Castile soap (like Dr. Bronner’s)
1 cup washing soda
1 cup borax
Double or triple recipe if you like

Grate Castile soap with cheese grater or
use a food processor -cut into slices then add to food processor a few at a time.
Mix together and use 1 or 1 1/2 tbsp per load
If your extra crunchy like me -
Use White vinegar for your fabric softener

I always want to make everything perfect for my kids — probably because of things I lacked growing up.
But when I step back and really look at moments like this, I’m reminded that the most important part of it all is family 🤍
This year we did a “Four the first time in forever ❄️” theme — simple decor, homemade cake and cupcakes, pizza, subs, a few dips… and somehow still way too much food (as usual 😅).

2-Minute Homemade Mayo
Crunchy, But Busy 🌿
We ran out of mayo, so I decided to make my own! It’s fast, uses simple ingredients, and most importantly — my kids couldn’t tell the difference ✔️
Ingredients
1 large egg (room temperature works best)
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
Add egg, vinegar, salt, and yellow mustard to a tall cup or jar.
Pour in the olive oil.
Place an immersion blender at the bottom and blend without moving for 10–15 seconds until thickened.
Slowly lift the blender to fully combine.
Taste and adjust salt or vinegar if desired.
Done — about 2 minutes from start to finish!
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Best used within 5–7 days.
