32. The Candy House by Jennifer Egan :: 7/10⭐️. I feel like I missed something with this book. The concept sounded so cool, a way to externalize your memories- the Collective Unconscious. I always imagined something like this to be like a Pensive from Harry Potter, but that’s irrelevant to this review. It felt like an episode of Black Mirror. I listened to this one on audio and found this book difficult to follow as it jumped between past , present, and future and it was not at all what I expected. There was one section that I LOLed at, but that’s about it. Anyone else read this and feel differently?
