3. The Locked Door by Freida McFadden :: 8/10⭐️. Nora Davis is a successful surgeon, but what nobody knows is that her father is one of the most infamous serial killers around. He’s now locked up serving 18 life sentences for his crimes. Nora is nothing like her father, but when 2 of her patients are found dead in the same style as her father used, Nora starts questioning herself and the people around her. I kept trying to guess where the author was going with this one, but I couldn’t figure it out! I was not expecting the twist at the end, but it wasnt as groundbreaking as I expected. The last 15% of the book I audibly gasped a few times. It was kind of reminiscent of Dahmer, actually. I took off a couple of points because there were a few plot points that were unanswered and it’s bothering me.
