I’ll take any excuse to dress up so themed parties are always an exciting opportunity for me to tap into the creative part of my brain. My company had a 1920’s themed New Year’s party and it was wonderful to see everyone all dressed up! I wanted a unique dress and this asymmetrical fringe one definitely checked that box. This mahogany dress has beautiful beading on top and since it was a bit chilly, I layered up with a faux fur shawl. I have no idea how the ladies of the 20’s did it but my head was throbbing by the end of the night. The headpiece left an enormous indent after wearing it for 5 hours; I was so glad to pop it off my forehead and let my skin come back to its normal form! Since there was already so much going on, I kept the rest of my accessories simple. I went with a single strand of pink freshwater pearls on top of a single pearl drop necklace. I wanted to keep with the times so I got this beautiful gold metallic art deco top handle evening bag. It was really moody inside with the lighting so pictures don’t do this look justice but it was such an incredible night with even better company. 1920s flapper fringedress fauxfur artdeco partyoutfit greatgatsby pearls LTKootd LTKdayinmylife LTKPetite
