Here's how I'm designing my small space living room! Some small spaces can be very wonky in layout and just plain-old awkward, so here are a few tips that I hope will help you out when you're designing your small space: MAKE THE ROOM FEEL LARGER: Paint ceiling and walls same color to elongate the walls. ACHIEVING COZY: add in more textures and fabrics like: linen pendants or lanterns, textured curtains, shaggy rugs, knitted throw ballets, etc.  DON'T FORGET ABOUT SCALE: Make sure your room has the right-sized furniture and accessories. The space needs to feel cohesive, and selecting items that are the proper size will make a world of a difference.   CREATE MORE STYLISH STORAGE: Adding in things like shelves, dressers, carts, and baskets, help to organize and display your goods and collectibles.
