#ad This project was LONGGG overdue. With summer knocking on the door we figured it was finally time to color match this random spot of our window trim. I (very easily) peeled off a patch of the existing paint, about an 1”. Then I took it to Lowe’s and they were able to color match it exactly! Now we can use this to patch in all our siding around our new windows this summer!

1. Some new fresh flowers - whether you have a yard or a patio. Planters work great for small spaces, maybe you have an event coming up where you want the space filled with plants but have a yard to transplant them in right after the event. We chose hydrangeas, lavender and boxwoods to keep our front porch looking fresh!
2. Fresh coat of paint. Who knows the last time this house was painted but it’s chipping and there was a patch of the dark trim color painted right on the siding. It was finally time to give our porch a quick refresh with color matching paint!
3. Some cozy items - we chose a fresh rug, some new pillows for our bench and some solar nights to enjoy the space in the evening. If you have the space, maybe a beautiful umbrella to shade you while you have your morning coffee? Or a cozy rocking chair to relax in after work. Maybe it’s refreshing the old cushions on your furniture that have been there for years like mine.

Meanwhile, the inside of our house has been in constant renovation chaos, so finally giving this little corner some attention felt necessary. With some help from Lowe’s, a new rug, fresh

The beautiful part of painting at this stage of the renovation is that we hardly have to tape anything! We had no floors, no doors, no trim, no outlets/switches - there’s nothing! Other than the ceiling line.

We’re 9 gallons of paint in and we have 12 more to go 😳

We finalized our paint color for most of the man floor!

We chose the Infinity HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams exclusively at Lowe’s. This paint is stain repellent, scuff and scratch resistant and antimicrobial! After pouring 9 months of love into every detail of the home we knew we wanted our walls protected.

Our color: Neutral Ground 🤍

This color went perfectly with our beautiful natural stone that will be coming in the next few months. We have 4 different rooms that will showcase this beautiful stone so we needed a color that complimented it.

Last fall we abandoned this old wheelbarrow after we loaded it up with concrete and dirt and the wheel popped. In the rush to get the house insulated before winter, we left the broken wheelbarrow outside with every intention of dealing with it, someday. Well winter came and winter went.

One of my favorite features from my last house that we’re incorporating into this home is the LG wash tower in the primary closet. There is something about having the unit right there in the same room that is hard to beat.

This closet is about the same length but half the width of our new one that we converted from an old bedroom.

Unboxing our mailbox brought me so much joy. The one that came with the house was falling apart after a snow plow hit it last winter and it never fully recovered. Our future coat closet!
We are utilizing every inch of this house possible and even adding square footage by taking some from the current garage. We plan to add on a massive 3-stall garage addition and the current garage will become a home gym and workshop. With that happening, we decided to add a 12’x6’ coat closet for all the winter things!

We can’t wait to have everything organized in here.

We eliminated this old small bedroom and transformed three bedrooms into our future primary suite. Inside you’ll find 12x13 closet that will be complete with an LG wash tower and floor to ceiling IKEA PAX and Billy units! We can’t wait for this simply room to become the jewel of the primary suite
