Two Target finds I did NOT expect to love this much. The polka-dot jacket has the cutest adjustable fit, and the sweatpant jeans look like the expensive pairs but feel ridiculously comfortable. If you’re choosing just one… good luck, because I’m keeping both.

A sweater over your shoulders can feel a little awkward until you get it right. The trick for me is finding the right weight and then wearing it however feels natural — over the shoulders, tied in back, or around your waist. Such an easy little styling trick that makes a simple outfit feel more pulled together.

The color feels like fall, the fabric is light enough to wear right now, and when the weather finally cools down, just add boots and keep going.

This is my kind of fall find — $36, the prettiest seasonal color, and something I can actually wear while it’s still warm outside. Sandals now, boots when the temperature finally cooperates.

Target is making it VERY hard for me to behave lately. This brown wrap skirt is lightweight enough to wear now, but add boots and a sweater later and you’ve got one of those pieces that carries your closet straight into fall.

If you girls remember my “five pounds lighter” pants, Target just gave us the comfy version — they’re actually SWEATPANTS. Add that soft little boatneck sweater and this might be my favorite Target outfit of the entire haul.

This is exactly the kind of Target find I get excited about — it gives you that polished layered-shirt look without all the extra bulk underneath. I own a designer version that cost me around $165, and this one makes me seriously question why I ever spent that much.

You already know I wasn’t leaving a leopard workout set behind. It’s ridiculously soft, the print makes working out a little more fun, and I’m exchanging the top for one size up because I always like a little more breathing room in my sports bras.

Okay, workout set number two and these pants are such a fun change from leggings glued to your legs. They’re soft, relaxed through the bottom, and that color is SO good — I just need to swap mine for the right size and we’re in business.

At 57, my skin is VERY picky. I developed several skin allergies around menopause, so finding skincare that works for me without triggering a reaction has taken some serious trial and error. These are the cleansers, serums, moisturizers, and other products currently in my routine that my allergy-prone skin personally tolerates. Always check ingredients for your own sensitivities, but if you’re a sensitive-skin girl too, these are worth a look.
