Day 5: đ Master bedroom! Grab your black trash bags for donation , white trash bags poor trash, set your timer, and letâs go! letâs start in the back corner of the room and work your way to the right until youâre back where you started. This will keep you on track. Youâre going to pick up every item and decide if itâs a donate, trash, something that belongs somewhere else in the house, or something that stays in your bedroom. With each item you pick up, ask yourself: 1. Have I used this in the last six months? If not, let it go! 2. Is this broken or damaged? If it is, toss it! 3. Is it something I donât LOVE and wouldnât miss it if it was gone? If it is, donate it! 4. Is it something that is useful and that makes my life better, easier, or just makes me happy? Then keep it! When you find something that doesnât belong in your bedroom, put it in a pile just outside your door and wait until the end to put everything away. If you try to do it during your declutter session, youâll get distracted and wonât be able to get as much accomplished. B O N U S đ S Y S T E M This is a simple one but MAN it makes a difference. I want you to commit to making your bed every morning for the duration of the challenge! To help you remember, write a little reminder note and tape it to your bathroom mirror. If you are the first one out of bed, and you leave before your spouse does, see if you can trade something with him to get him to make it! Having a made bed just makes your whole home feel more put together. Try it until the end of the month, and by that point youâll be at the 21 days required to form a habit! đđź containerstoreambassador bbeautifullyorganized organization declutteryourlife LTKWatchNow LTKStyleTip LTKHome
