We got our family photos back today from @gloryandgreen & if she isn’t magic, I don’t know who is! I had myself a day (anxiety is not for the feint of heart) & so getting these today was perfect timing & a welcomed distraction from myself. I was sure we didn’t get a single photo when we left our session but, as usual, I’m happy to report I was wrong! (I *would* have liked a little less wind & a little more volume in my hair, though 🤣). I took Amelia to the mall the other day & wanted to try on these joggers I’ve been wanting for a while now & Omgosh… currently sitting in my cart in multiple colors & trying to decide which one I want! They’re so soft, lightweight, & comfortable & they looked so nice on!! I really love them! Perfect for year round wear, too. Mixing prints doesn’t have to be intimidating. The trick: keep the color palette connected (this dress and bag both lean towards lighter & softer colors but they’re not an exact match) and vary the scale — small floral, bigger block print. That’s really it. Linking similar dresses and a few other easy print-mixing pieces here 🩷

We love these pool floats so much! We bought a similar set last year & they lasted great all summer- we don’t ever put our floats away so they’re constantly exposed to the elements & these held up so well!

Just got this cute 100% cotton ruffle top from @abercrombie & it fits perfectly! The reviews said it was too cropped but this is my regular size & these are not high waisted shorts so I think it’s just the right length! It’s currently on sale & I love it! Wear it with everything from poplin pants to cute linen shorts or even with a pareo!

Happy Father’s Day to the guy who makes everything more fun! I don’t really believe in “capsule wardrobes.”

I spent years trying to “rework” my wardrobe, buying what I thought I “should” buy, mostly neutral clothes & not many prints & spent most of those years not feeling like myself. I’ve been focusing on adding only pieces I love to my closet & while that’s a lot of color, print, & texture, it’s made a world of difference.

I’ve found that I believe in wardrobes that feel like you.

A little color.
A little pattern.
A little whimsy.
A lot of rewearing.

Floating into summer like… ☀️

The last week of school always feels a little bittersweet.

Ready for slower days, later bedtimes, and the kind of afternoons that stretch on forever.

Not quite ready for how quickly these years seem to go.

So for now, I’m soaking up the last school drop-offs, the end-of-year excitement, and all the anticipation that comes with a summer waiting just around the corner.

Chartreuse might be my favorite unexpected neutral.

I used to think adding personality to an outfit meant adding more- more accessories, more trend pieces, more effort.

Trying a few new-to-me @prequelskin products to add to my skincare routine ☀️🌙

I started with their Gleanser, a glycerin-based cleanser that makes your skin feel super soft. Then, I used their Hypochlorous acid spray (I actually use this morning & night) to help keep my skin clear (it helps purify, calm, & alleviate reactive skin). After that, I always use a Vitamin C serum- Prequel’s Lucent-C works to brighten & firm skin. Finally, I finished with their half and half peptides & ceramides moisturizer. It’s very lightweight, so perfect for the summer months ahead, but when I use this at night, I layer with another moisturizer!
