There’s just something about slow mornings at the beach that makes me want to stay in pajamas a little longer… especially when they’re this soft.

I wear @LAKE pajamas pretty much every night & have officially become one of those pieces I pack every time we travel. Soft, lightweight, & somehow polished enough that I clearly don’t mind being seen in them 😂

We got our family photos back today from @gloryandgreen & if she isn’t magic, I don’t know who is! I had myself a day (anxiety is not for the feint of heart) & so getting these today was perfect timing & a welcomed distraction from myself. I was sure we didn’t get a single photo when we left our session but, as usual, I’m happy to report I was wrong! (I *would* have liked a little less wind & a little more volume in my hair, though 🤣). Thank you, Kristy!!! Can’t wait for our next ones!

I took Amelia to the mall the other day & wanted to try on these joggers I’ve been wanting for a while now & Omgosh… currently sitting in my cart in multiple colors & trying to decide which one I want! They’re so soft, lightweight, & comfortable & they looked so nice on!! I really love them! Perfect for year round wear, too. Collecting little memories with my girl as often as I can 🩷

The slow mornings. The walks. The quiet afternoons. The moments that probably don’t feel particularly significant right now, but I know I’ll wish I could have back someday.

Motherhood is funny like that… you spend so much time moving through the day that sometimes you have to remind yourself to stop and actually notice it. It just all feels like it’s going by too fast.

So I’m trying to notice a little more lately.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what it actually means to “romanticize your life.”

And I’ve realized it doesn’t always mean fresh flowers, perfectly set tables, or a backyard that looks like a resort.

Sometimes it’s your dog waiting for you at the gate.

It’s eating dinner outside without actually setting the table.

Wearing the dress even though you’re just running errands.

Sitting by the pool for 20 minutes before someone needs you (or it starts to rain).

Noticing the pretty light.

Maybe romanticizing your life isn’t about making your life *look* beautiful…

Maybe it’s about noticing that it already is 🩷

We’ve talked about replacing the furniture in our pool pavilion for actual years.

Our old set had served us well, but it wasn’t comfortable anymore, it had holes in the wicker, & we found ourselves walking right past this space instead of actually using it.

A new set from @Wayfair completely changed that.

It’s funny how one update can make a space feel inviting again. We’ve already spent more time out here than we did all of last summer, & I have a feeling this is where you’ll find us for the rest of the season.

Sometimes the projects you put off the longest end up making the biggest difference.

If I’m going to be outside, whether it’s by the pool, at the golf course, or walking the dog, these are the two SPF products I never leave home without.

☀️ @dunesuncare’s Mineral Melt gives my skin the prettiest healthy glow while protecting it (and doesn’t leave a white cast!).

✨ @prequelskin’s Lip Visor in Rosedust is one of those products that’s made me finally remember SPF for my lips… because I actually want to wear it.

🕶️ Bonus: If I want a little extra glow, I put on @saltyface’s tanning moisturizer. It doesn’t contain SPF, but it gives the most beautiful sun-kissed look (that doesn’t wash off!).

It’s lightweight without being too sheer, polished without feeling fussy, and somehow always looks like you made more of an effort than you actually did.

Mixing prints doesn’t have to be intimidating. The trick: keep the color palette connected (this dress and bag both lean towards lighter & softer colors but they’re not an exact match) and vary the scale — small floral, bigger block print. I used to think getting dressed for golf meant needing a whole separate wardrobe. It was honestly one of the only drawbacks to playing when I was younger- I could never find anything I liked. Now, I’ve found a few brands that I truly love & make pieces I can wear, rewear, and style in different ways.

The formula that works for me:

Just got this cute 100% cotton ruffle top from @abercrombie & it fits perfectly! The reviews said it was too cropped but this is my regular size & these are not high waisted shorts so I think it’s just the right length! It’s currently on sale & I love it!
