We got our family photos back today from @gloryandgreen & if she isn’t magic, I don’t know who is! I had myself a day (anxiety is not for the feint of heart) & so getting these today was perfect timing & a welcomed distraction from myself. I was sure we didn’t get a single photo when we left our session but, as usual, I’m happy to report I was wrong! (I *would* have liked a little less wind & a little more volume in my hair, though 🤣). Recently got my first @frankandeileen capelet & I love it so much! It’s 100% cotton & just so comfortable (& washable!)! I just (like, just opened the package!) got these stretch patch pocket jeans from @Quince & I’m so excited about them! They fit TTS & are wildly comfortable! I wouldn’t purchase tartan because I thought it wasn’t worth it if I could only wear it for a short time; I don’t have many sherpa or faux fur pieces for the same reason. Anything that seemed like a “seasonal” fabric, especially for colder weather, I passed over and didn’t circle back to it when it went on sale like I did ( & still do) for warmer weather pieces. The thing is though, unique and season-specific pieces like those are what makes getting dressed feel special. So, I’m leaning into focusing on more special pieces this year because getting dressed should be fun!
