Like… we did it. I couldn’t believe it was ours. But truthfully, I didn’t think much about what came next. At first, I planned to bring all of our furniture from Virginia. Until we got the quote… and realized it made zero sense. So we sold what we could, kept what mattered, and started over. And I won’t lie—there was something scary about that. Letting go of everything familiar. Walking into an empty house with no real plan. But at the same time… it felt incredibly freeing. And from scratch, I started creating. I feel so grateful this home has become a piece of art to me. That I’ve gotten to have a vision—and slowly bring it to life. The chance to create, intentionally, from the ground up. And I think that’s something we’re meant to do— to live in a constant state of creating. Not because things get old… but because we’re designed to build, shape, and expand what’s in front of us. Whether it’s a home… or a family… I’m always creating. <3
