What a day! Got the biggest surprise I posted on my Instagram stories that absolute blew my mind 🤯😭 still crying! The last month has been one of the most exciting, but also has left me feel a bit lost to be honest. I turned 30 last week (!!!), got a house with my boyfriend, and I landed my first national print magazine story (WHAT?). In the midst of all the blessings, I totally took a break from my writing courses, the blog and self-care because I just felt overwhelmed. Cheers to learning it’s OK to have room to grow, and celebrate at the 👏🏻 same 👏🏻 time. 3️⃣I was editor-in-chief of my college newspaper, so I’m a bit grammar obsessed. Lame fun fact, but I’ve always found editing to be cathartic!

4️⃣My favorite shows are Game of Thrones, The Good Place, Veep and Arrested Development. My boyfriend and I even call my brother “mother boy” but no one else in the family gets it.

5️⃣I am a more of a paperback reader than and e-book or audiobook. 📚In fact, I can’t listen to audiobooks because I’m so picky about the narrator’s voice! I love curling up with a book and my pup on the weekends. My favorite contemporary authors are Celeste Ng, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Donna Tartt.
