What a day! Got the biggest surprise I posted on my Instagram stories that absolute blew my mind 🤯😭 still crying! The last month has been one of the most exciting, but also has left me feel a bit lost to be honest. I turned 30 last week (!!!), got a house with my boyfriend, and I landed my first national print magazine story (WHAT?). In the midst of all the blessings, I totally took a break from my writing courses, the blog and self-care because I just felt overwhelmed. Cheers to learning it’s OK to have room to grow, and celebrate at the 👏🏻 same 👏🏻 time. 4️⃣My favorite shows are Game of Thrones, The Good Place, Veep and Arrested Development. My boyfriend and I even call my brother “mother boy” but no one else in the family gets it.

5️⃣I am a more of a paperback reader than and e-book or audiobook. 📚In fact, I can’t listen to audiobooks because I’m so picky about the narrator’s voice! I love curling up with a book and my pup on the weekends. My favorite contemporary authors are Celeste Ng, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Donna Tartt.
