Sunday’s are for pasta 🍝🥖 It officially feels like summer and lemon pasta is one of my faves for the warm summer months 👌🏻 Definitely a crowd pleaser around here! Bread Ingredients • 3 cups of bread flour • 2 1/4 tsp of yeast • 2 tsps of Himalayan pink salt • 1 1/2 cups of lukewarm water (microwave 45 seconds) Directions • Combine all dry ingredients then add water • Cover with plastic wrap & a towel for two hours • Flip & fold then let rest. Repeat 2- 3 times during the next hour • Heat oven to 450 degrees with dutch oven inside. Sprinkle bottom with flour, add dough and then sprinkle flour on top. Add a small slice on top. • Bake 25 mins with lid on, then remove lid and bake another 10 minutes with lid off and drop temp to 400 degrees. Let cool, slice and enjoy! Pasta Ingredients • 1 lb of pasta • 1/4 olive oil • 3 garlic cloves, minced • 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley chopped • 1 tablespoons of lemon zest • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice • 1/4 teaspoon of salt • 1/3 cup of grated Parmesan • black pepper Directions • bring a big pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta until al dente about 8-10 minutes. Before draining be sure to reserve a 1/2 cup of the water for the sauce • In a saucepan, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and parsley. Saute until garlic is golden brown • Remove skillet from heat and add lemon zest, lemon juice and salt. Then add the reserved water and bring skillet back to medium- low heat. • Add the pasta to the skillet, using tongs toss the pasta so that it’s completely covered in the sauce. Cook for about a minute • Turn the heat off and add grated Parmesan, toss pasta again. • transfer pasta to a serving bowl, garnish with parsley and enjoy!
