One of my favorite moments from our wedding weekend was exchanging gifts with each other + letters we each read the morning of.

My husband surprised me with the most thoughtful engraved wood box and ring dish which was such a sweet nod to our Into the Woods theme.

I gave him an embroidered handkerchief, an engraved green wooden pocket knife (because he’s never without one!), and a little photo square for the back of his tie so he could carry us with him all day.

These meaningful gifts felt so tender and personal and gave us a moment to slow down…just us, before everything began.

Our engagement & wedding rings.

My engagement ring is the Delilah setting with a custom 1ct elongated no conflict oval diamond with a twisted 6 prong setting and my wedding band is a beautiful curved gold ring called The Chevron. I love wearing the wedding band on its own when I can’t wear my engagement ring. The gold and the curve is simple yet unique and I love that!

My husband’s ring is a custom gold domed satin ring with olivewood from Bethlehem on the inside! We love the sentiment and the significance. I really wanted my husband to have a ring that had a special meaning as well and he loves it. You can contact the store owner to get it specifically customized to your preference.

When he’s at work, he wears a variety of silicone rings from a set I got him that protects him from injury and ruining his gold ring when working. #engagementring #weddingring

All the costumes from our Lord of the Rings party!

Our Wedding Centerpieces turned out beautifully! I planned every detail from the unique tree table names with our favorite photos, wildflowers in the amber vases, orange slices and eucalyptus on the wood slab underneath it all, candles and lanterns placed strategically on a diagram I made for the day of coordinator. We also placed wood bottle openers for the apple cider bottles on the table tables with an eclectic blend of amber, clear, and green crystal goblets. It’s time for another batch of organic elderberry syrup and this time I tripled my batch.

The show I’m doing is opening next month and I’ve known multiple people who have gotten sick. I usually up my immune support during a show anyway to help prevent from catching anything or if I do, shorten the duration and this has been a go-to for years. I hope this helps you if you’ve caught what’s going around or just looking for something to boost your immune system.

I’ll share the recipe again here, but if you want the full details of how to make, head to my elderberry highlight. Again, I tripled it for this batch so I have enough for myself and my husband for the next month. We’re both doing the show and I want to take care of our immune systems as best we can.

Recipe:
¾ cup organic dried elderberries
3 cups spring water (not tap)
¾ cup organic raw honey

Other immune system supports i use:

-Zinc
-Liposomal Vitamin C
-D3
-L-lysine (prevents viruses from proliferating)
-lot of fresh fruit and herbs
-organic fresh garlic clove chopped up and taken like a pill (immune boosting, fighting a viruses, equal to 100,000 units of penicillin)
-slice of fresh white onion (to protect lungs)
-lemon water
-fresh ginger and thyme tea
-washing my hands
-eft tapping for immune system
-trust

I’ll never get over our wedding grazing table at our wedding! Plus how our vision for all the tables came to life.
I had always dreamed of having a fully gluten-free, plant-based charcuterie grazing table at our wedding…and somehow it turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. Our photos of this food look like they are straight out of a Pinterest board! I still tear up looking at these photos and how much hard work, planning, and love went into every detail. I feel so grateful and will be dreaming of reception and this day for the rest of our lives.🤍✨

It was UNBELIEVABLY stunning.

We also had a small gluten-free vegan cake for us and gluten-free cupcakes for our guests!

We provided our caterer with all the boards, charcuterie accessories, disposable plates, bowls, and cutlery, plus a very specific list of exactly what we wanted food wise: @rebelcreamery wheels, @scharglutenfree baguettes and crackers, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds…and she even made homemade jams to bring it all together! Camille at The Lady by the Lake Catering was amazing.

Here are all the little details that made our Disney fairytale wedding a magical reality.

We included meaningful nods to our favorite Disney movies like a “Be Our Guest” table, an Up mailbox we built for cards, a Cinderella cupcake stand featuring the gold shoes I wore when I played Cinderella in Into the Woods (how we met), and our sweetheart table with a framed “So This Is Love” photo to tie in with the table numbers.

To save money in our DIY wedding, the only real flowers we ordered from a florist was my bridal bouquet and the arbor flowers. Everything else were dried flowers. We had a DIY day where we put together the centerpieces with different dried wildflowers, eucalyptus and pine an it saved us a TON! We also bought dried boutonnières and bouquets for our wedding party which we loved because they can keep to decorate their homes. And a different boutonniere my husband. The flower crowns for the flower girls were also absolutely beautiful and transported well! I linked it all here! I’ll never get over our wedding charcuterie board! I always wanted a gluten-free and vegan charcuterie table at my wedding and that dream came true! I gave the caterer all of the utensils and boards. I sent her a list of all the foods that we wanted, including all the vegan cheeses from Rebel cheese, gluten-free, baguettes, and crackers, and all the beautiful, colorful nuts, seeds, fruit, fruits, jams…it was absolutely beautiful. I loved how it turned out.

We even had a big bucket of chips for the kids and a separate section of just fruit for people who had allergies to nuts, etc.

I loved this outfit I wore to sing at my Cousin’s wedding!
