Okay but why was this the hardest thing to find online? 🙃 I wanted a simple dryer top tray — not one of those full washer + dryer spans (because we have a top-loading washer and that just doesn’t work). And everything I found was either the wrong size, wrong style, or way overpriced. So I made my own. I used: + $9 project panel +$2 1 x 2 furring strip board + Northwood Brown paint by BM in an eggshell finish It creates the prettiest little folding surface and keeps things from sliding behind the dryer (which was my biggest annoyance) Sometimes DIY really is the better option — not just cheaper, but more custom.
