Let’s turn my builder-grade bathroom into a custom powder room with a peel-and-stick wallpaper mural!

This bathroom used to be a builder-grade white box - until I added this stunning peel-and-stick mural from @rebelwallls! They aren't available here on LTK, but copy & paste this link to shop this exact wallpaper:

The panels are numbered so installation was surprisingly simple, and after skim coating and priming the wall everything laid perfectly flat.

I added baseboards and crown molding to make it feel more custom and my husband built floating shelves to turn an awkward corner into something functional.

I genuinely can’t believe this is the same bathroom.

Welcome to day 2 of building my amazing mama her dream bathroom.

Last week we added panel molding and it completely changed the space.

This week? Paint, tile, and all the cozy vintage details she loves. We went with the prettiest shade of green on the bottom half, creamy white on top, and it already feels like a different space. For the floors, I skipped the budget-busting tile and went with a vintage black + white peel & stick.

I swapped in new vanity knobs, brass handles, brass sconces, fluffy towels... and a little gallery wall of her pets (plus Sammie, obviously). & I'm sharing my hack for hiding an ugly shower door.

This little laundry room has become one of my favorite spaces in the house.

I wanted this laundry room to feel calm and actually functional — not just a place we rush through. We kept the palette really soft and neutral, layered in textures, and focused on the little details that make everyday routines feel prettier.

I designed these custom laundry labels to keep everything cohesive (because nothing ruins the vibe like mismatched packaging 🙃) and I listed them on Etsy so you can use them in your own laundry room too.

Okay but why was this the hardest thing to find online? 🙃

I wanted a simple dryer top tray — not one of those full washer + dryer spans (because we have a top-loading washer and that just doesn’t work). And everything I found was either the wrong size, wrong style, or way overpriced.
So I made my own.

I used:
+ $9 project panel
+$2 1 x 2 furring strip board
+ Northwood Brown paint by BM in an eggshell finish

It creates the prettiest little folding surface and keeps things from sliding behind the dryer (which was my biggest annoyance)

Sometimes DIY really is the better option — not just cheaper, but more custom.
