💀 Viral Skeleton Candle DIY - but make it aesthetic 💀 Comment SKELETON below to receive a DM with the link to shop this post on my LTK!💀 I couldn't believe how easy this was to make, and you can find most of the supplies at the Dollar Tree or Amazon! *if trying this, please be careful to keep the wicks FAR away from the skeletons or use wax skeletons! (This is just for decoration and was only lit for this video) 💀SUPPLIES💀 - decorative bowl - 5 tall candles - candle wick kit - mini skeletons - hot glue - scissors 💀HOW TO💀 + boil a pot of water to melt your candles + while water is boiling, attach your candle wicks to the bottom of your bowl + style your skeletons on the outside & inside of your bowl using either hot glue or E600, make sure they are not too close to your wicks + once candles are melted, remove the wicks from the jars and pour the wax into your bowl + after it sets, cut the wicks and enjoy! I wanted this laundry room to feel calm and actually functional — not just a place we rush through. We kept the palette really soft and neutral, layered in textures, and focused on the little details that make everyday routines feel prettier.

I designed these custom laundry labels to keep everything cohesive (because nothing ruins the vibe like mismatched packaging 🙃) and I listed them on Etsy so you can use them in your own laundry room too.

And one of my favorite little upgrades? I DIY’d the dryer top tray to create a clean folding surface and catch-all moment — it makes the whole space feel more custom and intentional.

After painting the room, adding acoustic paneling, and building custom cabinets with a DIY marble countertop, it was finally time to tackle the other side of the room.

The vision was an oversized pinboard wall with a warm wood console that would make the entire space feel custom.

I chose the 66-inch Classic Console from @plankandbeamfurniture, and I honestly couldn't believe it only took about 10 minutes to assemble.

Once it was in place, everything just clicked.

The warm wood grain is beautiful, the size fits the wall perfectly, and the neutral finish ties together all of the warm tones throughout the room. It became the perfect spot to style with books, florals, candles, and one of my favorite details—a handmade dish my mom made herself to hold her push pins.

Sometimes it's the simplest pieces that completely finish a room.

The best standing desk for a home office makeover? I think I found it.

Welcome back to Part 2 of building my mom her dream office!

After transforming the walls, adding paneling, and building the cabinets, it was finally time to make the space functional—starting with the desk.
