It’s been a rough week. Not just for me but for so many people I know. When you own a small business you usually know several other small business owners. Many are *really* struggling. It’s getting to point of no return for so many. It’s incredibly heart breaking to hear their despair, confusion and hopelessness. Add that to the inevitable other issues we’re all facing right now and it left me feeling exhausted, helpless and overwhelmed • One of our clients @h2lstudio sent a message to the studio today that resonated with me. Sometimes you see or get these messages when you really need them. “Sometimes in life all you can do is hang on.....hang onto anything, but just hang on” • Maybe you’re like the many people I know and are just “hanging on”. Hang tight. Don’t keep everything bottled up. Reach out to someone you trust if you need help. You’re not weak. You’re exhausted, you’re trying to figure “it” out (whatever your “it” is) • It’s been months and months of living hour by hour or day by day. This is not normal. Human beings function best when there’s a beginning, a middle and an end to a “story”. I wish I had more profound, concrete answers, but I don’t. I’ll tell you I’m not giving up hope though.
