Who says you can’t go to Prom when you’re over 30? This was actually a birthday party that was “Prom Theme” and was so much fun! My party dress was the talk of the night and continues to get tons of complements. I am beyond obsessed with it and I just saw it’s on sale for UNDER $50 what?!!! This would be a perfect holiday dress for Christmas parties and New Years Eve with all these sequins and neutral color palette! Our bodies are strong. Our bodies are capable. I’ve decided that I’m physically and mentally ready (as well as baby Boden) to start losing the weight I gained during my last pregnancy. 55lbs in 41 weeks. While I honor and am in awe of this body that carried and grew 4 perfect humans, I am ready to reconnect to my best self. Mentally, emotionally, physically. Every roll, every stretch mark, every dimple of cellulite is not my enemy, they are my reminders of how amazing this body is, and they will not go away completely. I may change some on the outside in the coming months, but I will always respect this body and all it’s gone through in the last 9 years.... heck all 31 years!Sharing some of my recent Amazon fashion finds for athletic wear. Boden has been exclusively breastfed up til last week and has been enjoying his first tastes of food! So far he’s had avocado and beans cooked in bone broth. Did you know bone broth is basically the next most nutritious food compared to breastmilk? So good for those growing baby bodies and brains! I also got Boden a new modern high chair since we got rid of our old bulky one, and I found this cute modern minimalist high chair that was under $110! It was this week last year I got a positive pregnancy test. Little did I know the amazing little man who was coming into our lives.
We drove to Colorado for the 4th and shared the news with our closest family members and friends. We were so excited for this sweet blessing. I’m so glad you came into our lives, Boden.
