This is the yummiest dessert that instantly makes me feel like fall is here, trust me when I say you want to save this before moving on.



Ingredients:
- 2 cans (20 ounce) apple pie filling
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups Kraft caramels unwrapped and each cut in half (just use a bag of caramel bits it’s easier)
- 1 box dry yellow cake mix
- 1 cup butter cut into 1/4 inch thick pats

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together apple pie filling, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pan and smooth out evenly.
3. Arrange the caramels over top of the apple filling. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the caramels.
4. Place the pats of butter evenly over the top of the whole dessert.
5. Bake the dump cake at 350°F for 45 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned and the edges are bubbling.
6. Cool slightly before serving.

Rylee loves Grandma’s Mac and cheese, so when she wants to help me make it I can’t say no!



Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni 
Salt 
Pepper
1 stick butter 
Milk 
1 1/2 cups Velveeta cheese diced 

Instructions:
Cook macaroni with salt. Drain and put in a greased casserole dish. Layer macaroni, cheese, salt, pepper, chunk a stick of butter. Cover with whole milk till you can just see milk through macaroni. 350 degrees for 1 hour. Put foil under in case it runs over. Cover it with foil till last 20 minutes or so to turn brown a little.

These aren’t too bad! I think next time I’ll had a tablespoon or two more to get more of a pickle flavor! 

Ingredients:

10 ounces mini pretzels (twists or sticks, your call)
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon dill pickle juice (straight from the jar, yes please)
1½ teaspoons dried dill weed
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Optional: pinch of ground mustard or crushed red pepper for sass

Instructions:

1. Preheat and Prepare for Glory: First things first, preheat your oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment or a silicone mat.
2. Mix the Magical Pickle Potion: In a large mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, pickle juice, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. If you’re feeling frisky, toss in a dash of mustard powder or crushed red pepper. Stir.
3. Coat the Pretzels: Toss in your mini pretzels. Stir, fold, and flip to ensure every pretzel gets evenly coated.
4. Bake to Crispy Perfection: Spread the coated pretzels out onto your prepared baking sheet in a single, non-overlapping layer. Bake at 250°F for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.
5. Cool Before Crunch: Remove from the oven and let the pretzels cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.

This is a new to us recipe, and I think it’s one I’ll make again!

Super easy to throw it all into a crock pot and forget about it.



Ingredients:
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1 bag of carrots
- 1 bag yellow potatoes
- 1 pack ranch dry seasoning mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk

Directions:
1. Mix the can of cream of chicken soup, dry ranch seasoning pack, and 1 cup of milk.
2. Whisk together.
3. Place your chicken, carrots, and potatoes in your crockpot.
4. Pour your dressing mix all over the top.
5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

Chili Mac is always a hit, I haven’t made it forever! 



INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces ground beef
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken broth
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
¾ cup canned white kidney beans, drained and rinsed
¾ cup canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 ½ teaspoon cumin
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 ounces elbow macaroni
¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium high heat. Add ground beef and onion, and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat.
2. Stir in garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Stir in chicken broth, tomatoes, beans, chili powder and cumin; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
4. Stir in pasta. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 13-15 minutes.
5. Remove from heat. Top with cheese and cover until melted, about 2 minutes.

Pizza sliders are this households favorite! ❤️ 

Super easy and so dang good! 



Ingredients:
- 1 package dinner rolls (we used potato rolls)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- Small package pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons oregano (or Italian seasoning)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325F.
2. Slice the sheet of rolls across the middle, resulting in a top layer and bottom layer of 12 connected rolls.
3. Apply a generous spread of pizza sauce to the bottom half of the bread.
4. Top with a generous handful of cheese to encourage the pepperoni (or other toppings) to stay in place.
5. Cover with a layer of pepperoni.
6. Place the remaining mozzarella cheese in an even layer over top of the pepperoni and top with the top of the sandwich rolls.
7. Melt the butter in the microwave, heating for 20 seconds and then stirring to dissolve any milk solids. Pour or brush it on the top of the bread.
8. Sprinkle the oregano overtop of the butter and then bake the pizza sliders for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and butter has been fully absorbed, leaving golden sandwich tops.
9. Cut and serve.

The kiddos really got spoiled over their long weekend. Pancakes were a hit! 

⬇️ 

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ Tablespoon baking powder (ensure it’s fresh)
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups milk
- 2 Tablespoons butter (room temp- soft or melted)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together.
2. Add egg, milk, butter, and vanilla, whisk until all combined.
3. Heat your frying pan, add a little butter.
4. Portion out the batter for what will fit in your pan, don’t overcrowd the pancakes or they will run together. Use a 3 Tablespoon scoop to make pancakes, this recipe makes 15 pancakes of that size.
5. Cook the pancakes over medium heat, pour the batter into a lightly oiled pan (or buttered), flip when bubbles appear on the edges of the pancakes.
6. Once flipped, it only takes a minute or two to finish cooking.
7. Place a lid on the pancakes after you flip them to produce fluffier pancakes.

It was taco Tuesday on St. Patrick’s day, so of course we needed to put an Irish twist on it. The kids ate them, however they prefer regular beef tacos than these 🤣

The meat was excellent, and honestly the leftovers I added bbq sauce to and enjoyed it on pickles! 



Ingredients:
For the Pork:
- 2 pounds Pork Shoulder (choose well-marbled cuts for maximum tenderness)
- 1 medium Onion (or shallots for milder taste)
- 3 cloves Garlic (opt for fresh or pre-minced)
- 1 cup Beer (or chicken broth for non-alcoholic)

For the Tortillas:
- 8 pieces Tortillas (corn or flour based on preference)

For the Toppings:
- 1 cup Salsa (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup Diced Onions (red onions for color and flavor)
- 0.25 cup Cilantro (or fresh green onions as a substitute)
- 2 pieces Lime Wedges (for brightness)

Equipment:
- Dutch oven

Method:
1. Sear the Pork: Heat a heavy-lidded pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shoulder chunks until browned on all sides—about 8-10 minutes. This step adds rich flavor to the meat!
2. Add Aromatics: Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onions become translucent and fragrant, around 3-4 minutes. Your kitchen will smell heavenly during this step!
3. Deglaze with Beer: Pour in the beer (or chicken broth), making sure to scrape the bottom of the pot to lift those delicious browned bits. It’s a flavor bomb in the making! Cover the pot with a lid.
4. Slow Cook: Move to the oven and cook at 300°F (150°C) for about 3 hours. You’ll know it’s ready when the pork is fork-tender and pulls apart easily. Patience is key for epic flavor!
5. Shred and Serve: Remove the pork from the pot and shred it with forks. Serve it in warmed tortillas along with your favorite toppings—feel free to get creative!

Mac and cheese with corn in it is what was requested over the weekend! 

The kids love this, and they eat the leftovers like crazy. 



1 cup elbow noodles, cooked halfway
1 stick of butter 
1 can whole corn drained
1 can sweet cream style corn 
1 cup Velveeta cheese cubed

Instructions:
Cook noodles halfway through. Add to crockpot along with the rest of the ingredients, mix well. Cook on high for two hours.
