Why settle for those sad little boxes of microgreens at the grocery store when you can grow trays of fresh, flavorful ones right at home? 🥗 These tiny greens are loaded with nutrients, bursting with crunch, and take less than two weeks to grow!

Here’s how to do it yourself ⬇️

1️⃣ Start with one planting tray that has drainage holes and two solid trays.
2️⃣ Add a couple of cups of potting mix and smooth it out so the surface is level.
3️⃣ Evenly scatter about 20 grams of broccoli microgreen seeds across the top.
4️⃣ Give the seeds a gentle mist of water so they settle into the soil without shifting.
5️⃣ Place a solid tray on top and add some weight (around 15 pounds) to press them down. Keep it like this for 3 days.
6️⃣ After that, flip the cover over and leave them in darkness for 2 more days — this helps them stretch upward.
7️⃣ Remove the lid, place the tray under a grow light, and begin watering from the bottom once a day.
8️⃣ In 10–12 days, they’ll be lush and ready to harvest with a sharp knife or scissors.

My neighbor’s fiddle leaf has been looking a little tired, especially on the lower leaves. That often happens when the plant isn’t getting the right balance of nutrients.
