I’m 41, I’m an esthetician, and I’ve genuinely been loving how hydrated, calm, and glowy my skin looks using this.

You might be applying your skincare wrong.

If you’re applying your products to dry skin, you’re not getting the most out of them.

Damp skin helps your products absorb better, which means better hydration, plumper skin, and a stronger, more effective skin barrier. Your products can actually penetrate instead of just sitting on top.

Think of it like this:
dry skin acts like a shield,
damp skin acts like a magnet.

When your skin is slightly damp, it’s more permeable, so ingredients can move in more easily.

How to do it:
• apply right after cleansing while skin is still slightly damp
• don’t fully dry your face, just gently pat if needed
• use a mist or an essence to keep your skin slightly damp as you layer your products

A few things to keep in mind:
• this works especially well for hydrating products
• you’ll likely need less product because it spreads more easily
• be more cautious with strong actives like retinol or exfoliating acids, since damp skin can increase penetration and irritation
