Hitting your protein goals on a plant-based diet isn’t as hard as it seems. Here are a few gems I’ve learned on this journey: •Start simple: Lentils, chickpeas, tofu, and tempeh are packed with protein and super versatile. Think soups, salads, stir-fries—you name it. •Don’t skip the grains: Quinoa isn’t just a carb; it’s a complete protein! Mix it into bowls or swap it for rice. •Snack intentionally: don’t be like me and eat a slice of cake for snake. Blame on a certain time of month chile! A handful of almonds, pumpkin seeds, or a quick plant-based protein smoothie can bridge the gap between meals. •Balance is key: Combine proteins with fiber-rich veggies and healthy fats to stay full longer and nourish your body. That avocado toast be hitting! •Track and learn: Using apps like Cronometer taught me how to make smarter food choices and keep my meals balanced.
