“Because these are the good ‘ol days.” I quietly reminded myself as the kids begged and begged me to let them make puppy chow for the 100th time this week.

I had every reason not to let them; I was scrambling to make dinner within a 30 min timeframe before it was time to take my oldest to dance. I didn’t want to deal with the clean up. And I didn’t know if I had the bandwidth for it all….simple as that.

But then I remembered…these are the good ‘ol days!

And it quickly became one of my favorite evenings despite the chaos.

This is such a crowdpleaser and one of the EASIEST recipes in this Slow Supper series!

If I only had two minutes, this is the recipe I would make!

RECIPE:
•3-4 large chicken breasts (or 6-8 thinly sliced breasts)
•1 cup of bbq sauce (we love Sweet Baby Rays original sauce but added in another cuz I ran out of that one 😜)
•3/4 cup ketchup
•2 TBS mustard

Cook chicken on low heat for 6-8 hours! And shred! Add it on top of your favorite bun and add whatever toppings you like!

We keep it simple here! This is a great family meal and makes a lot of left overs!
