Here is what I do when it comes to transitioning out of swaddle! A gentle transition usually works best:

💤Start with one arm out for 2–3 days during naps, then move to night for 2-3 nights, then both arms out. If baby is already rolling skip right to both arms out!

💤Switch to a regular sleeveless sleep sack so baby still has that cozy “wearable blanket” feeling

💤Keep the rest of the bedtime routine exactly the same!!! Feeding, sound machine, dark room, etc

💤Expect a few rougher days/nights awhile baby adjusts to having their arms free. The startle reflex can make sleep choppier at first.
