The gold tea pot I used in my centerpiece was a wedding gift from a friend who thrifts/antiques, but happened to find the exact set on Etsy.

I consigned my tea cups locally for the tea party, but found some great bone china / vintage tea cups I tagged for you on Etsy as well.

Welcome to my hosting series, “Celebrating with Summer”, where we celebrate milestones, holidays, and “just because” things that make life feel a bit more special.

Some friends of mine recently shared how they’ve never played croquet before & since I grew up playing, I felt spring would be a great time to teach them.

I figured if we’re going to play croquet, why not make it a whole thing with dressing up, wearing a cute hat or fastener, & having a tea party? I mean, why not be extra when you get a chance to, am I right?

The day before the event, I ran my errands for flowers, ingredients for a dessert I was making, & Spindrifts (the Nojito’s are my favorite). After unloading the car & putting the flowers in water, I went outside to set up for croquet.

Welcome back to part 2 of setting up for my 2026 Galentine’s party!

I started with setting up a Galentine’s photo backdrop using heart balloons I found on Amazon (linked below), using the straw it came with and an electric balloon pump to save my lungs. Then taped them in a row by color, saving one out for a cute photo prop. I find people don’t know what to do with their hands in pictures, so props help.

Lastly, I set out the food & bingo Valentine’s prizes before guests began to arrive.

Looking for a fun & playful dessert idea for your next birthday celebration? Try this mini doughnut “cake”, add some funky candles, decorative picks based on your theme, & you’re all set! ✨

I grabbed these mini doughnuts from my local @walmart bakery. They had various color frosting options. I went with the classic chocolate & caramel drizzle.

I printed cat illustrations on card stock at home, cut them out, & taped them to toothpicks. It’s an inexpensive way to personalize a birthday cake or dessert for any theme.

Sharing all the birthday party decor details, including the Sonic the hedgehog photo backdrop I setup for my niece’s 10th birthday.

I spray painted 3 foam rings yellow to look like Sonic coins & hung them above my kitchen island using fishing line, so they looked like they were floating.

Afterwards, I uploaded the party themed graphic I designed to my Frame TV and set the tables. Sharing links!
