I spray painted 3 foam rings yellow to look like Sonic coins & hung them above my kitchen island using fishing line, so they looked like they were floating.

My top tips for making decorating the outside of your house for Christmas a little EASIER.

Tip 1: A quick, easy, & secure way to add bows to your outdoor wreaths is using smaller zip ties.

Tip 2: A damage-free way we add wreaths to our windows every year is with heavy duty suction cups. 🔗 Link in my bio.

Extra tip: Wipe the area of the window down with an alcohol wipe & dry with paper towel before adding suction cup to window. It helps the suction cup hold better.

Tip 3: Choose yard decor that can easily be stored in the attic fully assembled.

Then from year-to-year the only thing left to do is get them down, anchor them to the ground, & plug them in. Easy peasy.

Just bought these high rise Stevie flare jeans in store & ordered two other washes (dark denim & black denim) when I got home. These are by far my favorite jeans & I always have women asking me where I get them. They’re 40% off, so I’d snag them on sale while you can.

Note: I size up 1 size in lighter washes & corduroy (for some reason I find they fit tighter) & get true to size in darker washes (dark denim & black (based on their size chart).

I found the coolest, most random thing you never knew you needed! You’re welcome. ☺️

When I saw this metal roller date stamp it took me back to my childhood, seeing library cards stamped with a date stamp.

This stamp will be cute styled on my office / craft room shelves, but you better believe I’ll be using it too when crafting.

Also, I didn’t realize until I was making this reel that I had the stamp set to 2005 instead of 2025. I really tried to take us back in time…lol.

I underwent an EMO-tional transformation for my nieces 14th birthday party. 🖤🩷 This would make a great Halloween costume idea, if you’re looking for something dramatic, comfortable, & easy to pull together.

I already had the black jeans, plaid skirt, and nail polish, so the only things I bought was a printed tee, chocker necklace (you could also easily make with black ribbon if you have some laying around), and black & color striped socks I cut into the 2000s emo/seen armbands I remember being so popular.

Then, I straighten my hair, painted my nails, added some heavy black eye liner, and I was all set!

Sharing links from my niece’s 20th birthday shell-a-bration (decoration & setup). The tables were shimmery with a sand colored cheese cloth runner & both real and hand-made felt & beaded seashells sprinkled throughout. I created a mosaic 20 for the centerpiece and used pompas grass in ceramic & woven vases to carry the beach vibe throughout the party. A vibrant aqua, yellow, coral, & pink tassel banner hung on the kitchen island to bring a little pop of color. And what would a shell-a-bration be without shell plates?

Supply list:
 1) Fabric: Cut into a square. My large Sherpa pillow was made with a 30x30 inch piece of fabric & the brown plaid fabric for the smaller pillow was 22x22 inches.   2) Polyfil (polyester stuffing), 1-2 bags depending on the size of your pumpkins and how many you’re going to make

3) Embroidery floss to match your pumpkin

4) Macramé jute cord in two sizes: 2mm & 11mm

5) Upholstery needle 🪡

6) Hot glue gun

As promised, today I’m sharing the final reveal of this cozy corner in our master bedroom!

You may remember, I felt there was too much blank space for my liking & I wanted to cozy it up a bit.

I started moving around some pieces I already had & decided relocating the faux tree between our mango wood dresser & upholstered chair added the height & contrast needed, but I was still missing something on the adjacent wall.

I searched on @etsy for some vintage art prints I could download & found this clay pot & flower piece I thought was perfect. Once I downloaded the file, I sent it over to @finerworks, since they print on Giclee (fine art paper). It just gives the artwork a more realistic painted look, so it doesn’t look like a shiny photograph.

Next, I ordered a wood frame from @amazon & then went on the hunt for an affordable LED picture light, so no hard wiring was needed. Usually, the good quality picture lights cost $500 and up, but the one I found was less than $50! The light adds so much warmth & character to this corner & was the perfect final touch.

Sharing my charming home finds today that are both beautiful & functional. 1) An ice bucket with a lid enclosed in a wicker basket carrier for indoor or outdoor hosting (clearance alert 🔔), 2) a wood & brass twine holder for craft projects or cooking, & 3) an acacia wood & antique brass finished vinyl storage (tabletop stand) to hold vinyl records.

I know I know…it’s not fall yet, but when you stumble on the right pieces for entertaining for the upcoming holidays at a good price, you have to snap it up while you can.

When I was thinking through the design of my kitchen cabinets, I knew I wanted my dishes in the lower cabinets instead of the uppers. I was tired of lifting a heavy stack of plates above my head to put them away or straining to take them down.

I asked the custom cabinet maker we were working with to get a peg board insert for the two lower drawers with many wooden pegs, so I could adjust my dish configuration as needed.

Incase you’re wondering, the wooden pegs keep the plates and bowls from hitting one another as the drawer opens and closes.

5 years later, I have no regrets on this kitchen design choice. I’d do it again & recommend it to anyone starting kitchen renovations or building a new home.

I didn’t want our TV above the fireplace, so I had to figure out how to arrange the furniture in our living room to where people could sit & visit, but also turn & see the TV behind them. Swivel chairs were a perfect solution for this!
