This Creamy Italian Sausage Soup is hearty, comforting, and so easy to make for a weeknight dinner. ✨ Save this recipe for your next chilly night: Creamy Italian Sausage Soup • 1 lb Italian sausage • ½ yellow onion, diced • 4 garlic cloves, minced • 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes • 32 oz chicken broth • 2 cups water • 8 oz Ditalini pasta • 2 bay leaves • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (more to taste) • ½ block cream cheese, cubed • ¼ cup half & half • Handful of spinach • Salt & pepper, to taste Directions: Brown sausage in a large pot. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic. Add crushed tomatoes, broth, water, bay leaves, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil. Stir in pasta and cook until al dente. Lower heat, add cream cheese until melted, then stir in half & half. Add spinach until wilted. Remove bay leaves. Season to taste. Serve warm with crusty bread.
