The year goes by fast. Faster than I expect every single time.

I’m naturally a little negative and it takes effort for me to look for the positive, so I’m trying something simple this year. Writing down one good thing from the day. A small win, something that made me laugh, or just a moment I don’t want to forget. Putting it in a jar and letting it add up.

I also like the idea of doing this with kids. Helping them get in the habit of looking for something good each day instead of feeling like nothing happened or the day was a total blur.

Ingredients:
½ cup hot chocolate mix
¾ cup marshmallow fluff
18 oz container Cool Whip
Mini marshmallows
Crushed peppermint
