My fav element in this kitchen isn’t any of the tile, the cabinets or the appliances. It is the SKYLIGHTS! Light is transformative… we take vitamin d supplements because it can affect our mood and health. It was a no brainer to add skylights above the island and take this dark, sad kitchen to bright & happy status. There are a handful of Velux “No Leak” skylights we’ve added over the years… it has NEVER been an issue that we didn’t put them in at the same time as a new roof. MYTH.
