This is a mistake I see all the time! 𫣠Hanging art at the right height is one of the easiest ways to give your home a designerâs touch. Just remember a few rules of thumb: 1. If your art hangs alone on a wall (no furniture underneath), hang it so that the center is at high-level. This usually equals about 58 to 60 inches from the floor to the center of your piece. 2. If youâre hanging a group of art like a gallery wall or even just a pair, hang it so that the center of the GROUP is at eye level (58-60â to center). 3. If itâs hanging above a piece of furniture, thereâs a little more wiggle room, but you donât want a ton of space between the top of the piece and your art. A good distance to shoot for is 4 to 8 inches above the top. Give this a try next time youâve got a piece of art to hang and let me know in the comments if youâd like me to share more easy tips like this! designtips moderncottage richmondinteriordesigner interiordesigntips coastalcottage
