Casual chic at 5'1" when it's 68 degrees in DC I'm 5'1" for reference. Wearing XS in the gap 100% cotton sweater and a 0 in the skirt. I know it being low rise sounds intimidating in your 30s but it’s not as low as you think! This is my uniform for in-between weather. Warm enough for a union market coffee walk. Dress it down: swap the Chanel slingback for sneakers. Dress it up: throw on some heeled slinback sandals. Tagged similar options under $100 too. Sizing question? I owned a dry brush ten years ago in my goopy woo woo era. Threw it out during a move and never replaced it, not because I decided it wasn’t working, but because it was out of sight and therefore, to my type B brain, it did not exist.

So the first assignment is simple. Buy the version that is pretty enough to leave on the counter. This one is easy to hold, it’s refillable so you pop the head out every six months instead of replacing the whole thing, and it looks like something you’d choose to display.

PRO TIP: Dry brushing after an internationals flight will make you feel SO good

Here’s everything we did on a long weekend in the Hudson Valley and the Catskills - autocamp was such a beautiful wedding venue our friends chose and so much fun to stay in the airstreams all close by all the guest.

Deja Brew. I got the sandwich of my dreams here I have not stopped craving it and also the lemon blueberry cookie was incredible. A local recommended this to us and I wish I could tell them how happy I was with this suggestion

Woodstock Oriol 9 for brunch and then walk over to the flea market. I am currently regretting not getting one of the fur coats I tried on.

Kaaterskills Falls
It was SO crowded on a Saturday morning but was glad to get some steps in. We went to Deja Brew after.

I dont know if this is a hot take, but whenever we go to New York or Connecticut I will take the road trip over the train or the flight every single time.
