a healthy slow night routine has changed our lives! winter rolling around and the sun going down earlier doesn’t have to be miserable. it’s a great opportunity to intentionally rest.

- turn as many lights off as you can and light candles. this will instantly change the atmosphere of your home and help your body exit fight or flight
- turn off screens. if you have kiddos, screen free entertainment that will help keep them calm is what we’re going for (that’s why we LOVE our Yoto player!)
- once bedtime rolls around, a little magnesium lotion on everyone’s legs will help with sleep quality
- for an even more luxurious night’s sleep, a silk eye mask will be your best friend

the best DIY home project we’ve ever done! Now I have the vintage inspired cottagecore spice rack of my dreams.

For the sides:
(1) 1x3 cut into (2) 35” pieces - scallops cut with a jigsaw starting 4” from the bottom of the board

For the shelves and top:
(1) 1x3 cut into (5) 17” pieces - 6.5” of space between the bottom of one shelf and the top of the next

For the trim:
(4) 18.5” long pieces tacked with the bottom of the trim sitting 1” above the top of the shelf.

**measurements were created for the specific set of spice jars tagged in this post!**

So simple to put together! Hang with an anchor/screw combo and you’re good to go!

my go to matcha recipe!!
- bloom your whisk in hot water for at least 5 mins
- sift 3g matcha into your bowl
- add raw honey + TJs bourbon vanilla paste to taste (I use 3-4g each)
- pour 2 fl oz of hot (NOT BOILING, 165-170°F) water over your matcha
- mix in circles a few times first, then whisk in W/M motion for 30-40 seconds
- pour over ice and your milk of choice
