The more I travel, the more I've grown to realize the importance of not only learning about the cultures of the countries we visit but to fully embrace them through connection with the very people that make these cultures so great. We started off our @indtravel #TripOfWonders journey by spending the morning at Setu Babakan, the Center of Betawi Culture learning about Jakarta's indigenous people and experiencing their passion through dance and art. Authentic travel means connection, not only with locals but with yourself to give your heart a moment to reflect on the rest of the world and to connect with fellow travelers. I'm fortunate to have met some incredible people here with me on this trip and it's refreshing to meet like-minded travels who also value that same connection.
