Sunset over the very special and spiritual town of Assisi where the remains lay of one of my favorite Saints, St. Francis of Assisi. In a world where faith is becoming less and less important, I find that my faith has only gotten stronger. I grew up Catholic but the faith was never forced on me. My heart was always drawn to it ever since I was little and Christ has been the center of my heart and He always will be, regardless of the times. I now leave you with this beautiful prayer by the Beautiful St. Francis of Assisi and whether you’re a believer or a non-believer, I hope you find some peace in it, if only for a moment: 🕊 Lord make me an instrument of your peace Where there is hatred let me sow love Where there is injury, pardon Where there is doubt, faith Where there is despair, hope Where there is darkness, light And where there is sadness, joy O divine master grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console to be understood as to understand To be loved as to love For it is in giving that we receive it is in pardoning that we are pardoned And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life Amen. http://liketk.it/2tSJg liketkit @liketoknow.it
