Cooper Chase. You’ve been through so much all ready in these 8 and a half months you’ve been in this world. From your NICU stay to your gtube to all the hearing tests and now eye tests too. But no matter what, we think you’re just the most perfect boy in the world. ❤️ I shared on stories today that Cooper was getting an eye exam. He has an eye condition called nystagmus. Essentially, his eyes move back and forth involuntarily. The good news is that he will most likely find a way to focus on his own. His brain will start to connect the dots of what makes them slow enough to focus. Right now it looks like it’s going to be either looking up or down for him. We’ll see if that changes as he gets older. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it may also mean glasses at a much earlier age than most, but we all know he’d look dang cute in just about anything! It is something that I’m sure will have an affect on his life, but I never want him to think of it as a problem either. I felt the same way when he was showing signs of hearing loss.
