Cooper Chase. You’ve been through so much all ready in these 8 and a half months you’ve been in this world. From your NICU stay to your gtube to all the hearing tests and now eye tests too. But no matter what, we think you’re just the most perfect boy in the world. ❤️ I shared on stories today that Cooper was getting an eye exam. He has an eye condition called nystagmus. Essentially, his eyes move back and forth involuntarily. The good news is that he will most likely find a way to focus on his own. His brain will start to connect the dots of what makes them slow enough to focus. Right now it looks like it’s going to be either looking up or down for him. We’ll see if that changes as he gets older. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it may also mean glasses at a much earlier age than most, but we all know he’d look dang cute in just about anything! It is something that I’m sure will have an affect on his life, but I never want him to think of it as a problem either. I felt the same way when he was showing signs of hearing loss. All I want is for him to love the body he’s been given. ❤️

Date day was seriously the best idea I’ve ever had! Matt had Friday off and it was an easy day for me to take off so we sent the kids to daycare & spent the day together. We went to breakfast, ikea, Boulevard Brewery and lunch all before coming home for a few hours before getting the kiddos. It was honestly just what my soul needed. Sometimes when we’re so busy raising two kids, it’s easy to forget that Matt isn’t only my husband and a father, but he is truly my best friend. We laughed and talked and held hands & it just all made me so dang happy. 🥰

Here’s hoping this is a start of regular fashion posts 🤞🏼 postpartum body image has been so tough for me this time around. With Andrew, I was 20 pounds below prepregnancy weight within a few months. This go around I’m at my prepregnancy weight but my body is so different. I suddenly am carrying more weight in my belly which is new to me. I’ve been hard on myself basically every single day as I get dressed. I used to look forward to pairing pieces together to make an outfit each day. Over the last few months, I’ve dreaded it. Which is why I’ve avoided posting on here as much. Why share things when they aren’t making you feel your best?? So I’ve set out to find things that make me feel good in this body. The one that went through hell to give us Cooper so quickly after giving us Andrew. I want to learn to love the body I’m in rather than thinking about the one I want. ❤️ Once I saw this top, I immediately wanted it. And all day today I felt put together and cute so I’d call it a win. It’s also only $20 which is just a real win. 🥰
