There’s something about building in the middle of your real, everyday life that makes the dust and chaos feel different. Last week, our Houseal Construction crew stepped away from other jobs to spend a few days here, and in the thick summer heat, they worked their hearts out to get this dormer standing. Hazel will soon have her own room, the boys will have theirs, and we’ll finally reclaim our living room from the maze of mattresses it’s been this past week (though we know there are still several more weeks ahead).
